Kids are excited to see computers for the first time!


The computers have made their way into the classroom at Children's World Foundation in Cameroon. Even though they will be used to assist  kids dealing with autism, all the children in the classroom will also use them for basic computer literacy.

When Abdul was about to complete his high school education, he needed a summer project. Abdul reached out to www.techforhope.org for assistance. With the help of our volunteer Alex, Abdul collected some old computers from his school. We then organize training sessions to teach Abdul how to fix some of the computers. In the end, Abdul presented his work at school and was very proud to learn new skills and also help those who are in need. Since then, Abdul has moved to the CU at Boulder to continue his education. With the assistance of a local charity in Yaounde, Cameroon, we have offered an early Christmas to kids in an orphanage. The orphans had a great time and will now have a better education Thanks to the computers donated by our charity.
